ThePatrons Reader Config - Device Initialization

Once the reader already installed with base firmware, the following are the next installation steps that must be carried out:

1. Master Credentials

   To install master credentials please follow the steps below :
   -    Tap on padlock icon in the top right corner

         

   - Tap on master QR code

         

   - Scan master QR code to the reader

         
    

2. Updated Firmware

   To install the updated firmware please follow the steps below :
   -    Tap on firmwares

         

   - Tap on the firmware that you want to install

         

   - Scan the firmware QR code to the reader

         
   - For device QS-10, if you just scan the firmware QR, after the beep sounds 2 times, please wait until the device light flashes (restart), then wait again until the beep sounds 3-4 times then it's ready.

    

3. Facility Credentials

   To install facility credentials, please follow the steps below :
   -    Tap on “Secrets”

         

   - Tap on Facility

         

   - Scan the facility QR code to the reader

         

    

4. Reader Config

   To configure the reader, please follow the steps below :
   -    Tap on “Configs”

         

   - List config will be displayed, tap on the reader config

         

   - Config detail will be displayed, tap on QR code icon in the top right corner

         

   - Scan the reader config QR code to the reader
