ThePatrons Reader Config - Configuration

1. Configuration List

   After successfully login, Configuration List will be displayed

   

2. Search configuration

   Please follow the steps below to search the configuration :

   - Fill in the configuration name that you want to search in the field

      

   - System will display the configuration based on criteria

      

3. Detail Configuration

   To view the detail configuration, tap on the configuration list that you want to see the detail.

      

4. Add Configuration & Connect to the reader

   Please follow the steps as below to add the new configuration for the reader :
   -    Tap on “+”  in the top right corner

         

   -    Fill in the Config Name,
         Select Config Key and Facilty Key,
         Tick the option for Authentication,
         Choose the Endpoint (HTTP and NTP) ,
         Choose the communication for connect to the reader, if you choose “Wiegand”, select Wiegand Format,
         Choose the Device IP

   -     Tap on “Save” button

         

   -    Once successfully added the configuration, the system will generate QR that you can scan to configure       your reader
         

   -     Scan the QR to the reader

        
    

5. Delete Configuration

   Please follow the steps below to delete the configuration

      -  Tap on Config list that you want to delete

     -   Tap on “Delete” button

    -   A pop up will be displayed, tap on “Delete” button for confirmation

    -    Config will be deleted and removed from the config list

• Reset Reader Configuration

  Reset reader configuration means reset the values of facility credentials and reader config.
  Please follow the steps below to reset the configuration
  -    Tap on config list
       

  -    Tap on reset icon

       

  -    QR code will be displayed to reset the reader

       

  -    Scan the QR code to the reader

       

  -    Install facility credentials with the steps below :

        • Tap on “Secrets”

            

      •   Tap on facility

            

     •    Scan the facility QR code to the reader

            

   -  Configure the reader with the steps below :

       •   Tap on “Configs”

            

       •   List config will be displayed, tap on the reader config

            

       •   Config detail will be displayed, tap on QR code icon in the top right corner

            

       •   Scan the reader config QR code to the reader
