This guide explains how to set up The Patrons VMS using Docker on your local machine.

System Requirements :

1. Hardware Requirements

a. ThePatrons Basic

Recommended minimum :

• RAM : 16 GB
• Storage : 100 GB

b. ThePatrons with access control integration

Total Requirements :

• RAM : 20 GB
• Storage : 100 GB

c. ThePatrons with FR Engine

Total Requirements :

• RAM : 20 GB
• Storage : 200 GB

2. Supported Operating Systems

• Linux : Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Mac OS
• Windows (Must support Hyper V or WSL 2)

Note : All OS must support virtualization because we are using Docker.

The Patrons VMS Installation steps :

1. Download the required files (Install.bat & additional.zip)
2. Move files Install.bat & additional.zip into the same folder
3. Install & run Docker Desktop

4. Double-click the Install.bat file to run

   

   

5. Do not close the window during the installation and wait until the terminal shows “Installation Finish”, then press any key to continue.

   

6. Activate the license

• Open the web browser and go to https://localhost/activation/#/

  

• Enter the license key and click on “Continue” button

  

• Send the QRcode to Patrons HQ, then click on “Continue” button.

  

• Patrons HQ will send the file license.lic , drag the file to the browser

  

• Once the activation process is complete, a confirmation screen will appear. This indicates that ThePatrons license has been successfully activated and the system is ready to use.

  

• Once the installation and activation are complete, you can access The Patrons VMS by opening the following URL in your browser: https://localhost/

  This will open the application on your local machine.
